Teenagers Died In A Fatal Hit-And-Run Accident

On 29th July around 5.30pm at the CTE, a fatal hit-and-run accident occurred when a car collided against another car and knocked a motorcycle before escaping.

Since it was during the peak hours, many vehicles are driving in and out. Out of a sudden, a car was speeding at breakneck speed, approximately 150km/h and he clashed against a motorcycle. The motorcyclist and his pillion were thrown to the road and died on the spot. They were both males and aged 20 and 22.

26-year-old, Ms Jane Lee, an eye-witness and a student said, "It happened so fast!" She was also sure that she saw two cars.

40-year-old, Inspector Abdul Brahman said, "There were streams of blood on the road." He hit like ton of bricks by what was left of the motorcycle.

Madam Moliah Bte Ismail, 36-year-old housewife who was one of the passengers in one of the cars said, "All I heard was a big bang!" She was unsure what had caused the accident.

Said the Station Inspector Abdul Brahman: "Drivers are to drive carefully and not to talk on the handphone when driving. Bystanders/Eye-witnesses are urged to come forward with the information on the license plate of the vehicle(s) involved in the hit-and-run accident.
